Developed in partnership with CBZ, the GMB Farmers’ Wallet is a comprehensive digital financial ecosystem created to transform how Zimbabwean farmers receive, manage, and grow their money. The platform was built in response to long-standing challenges faced by farmers including delayed disbursements, limited access to banking services, and difficulties in tracking payments. By digitising the entire process, the Farmers’ Wallet provides a faster, safer, and more transparent way for farmers to interact with their finances.
At its core, the solution allows farmers to receive payments from GMB directly into their digital wallet, eliminating the need to travel to physical banking halls or wait for manual processing. Once funds reflect, farmers can check balances in real time, review transaction histories, and manage their income with far greater clarity than ever before. The system is intentionally designed to be intuitive, making it accessible even for users with minimal digital experience.
The Farmers’ Wallet also offers a growing suite of financial services that extend beyond simple payments. Farmers can transfer funds, make withdrawals, and gain access to critical financial products that support their livelihoods.
